SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSE

Offering the right Spanish language course for your comprehension level is something Escuela de Idiomas Nerja is proud of. On the first day, students take a written and oral classification test before being assigned their particular level. The Six levels of Spanish language course work include:

Elementary: The acquisition of a basic grammatical structured knowledge to be able to communicate in the practical situations of daily life.

Intermediate 1: Emphasis on grammar, with special reference to the past tenses. Introduction to the subjunctive. Conversation.

Intermediate 2: A command of grammar. The subjunctive. Various aspects of Spanish culture and civilization. Emphasis on conversation.

Advanced 1: A better knowledge of grammar. Fluency in conversation, and a deeper knowledge of Spanish culture. Written expression and creation of texts.

Advanced 2: Specially difficult aspects of grammar. Specific vocabulary. Fluency in conversation on specific topics concerning Spanish culture and civilization.

Higher: Specialized level of grammar. Study of Spanish literature, art, sociology and the 
history of Spain.
