The trip departs from Club Costa Nerja in San Juan Street. Here we will board a coach that will take us to Malaga.

The first activity in Malaga will be to go to the Atarazana Central Market, which was built at the end of the 19th century in a neoarabe style on the site of an old shipyard of the nazari era, hence the subsequent name atarazana.

Then we will go to the Catedral de Málaga (Malaga Cathedral). This monument is one of the best examples of the Spanish Renaissance and is famous for its excellent choir.

After some free time for lunch or a stroll through the city centre, (we recommend that you visit the Plaza de la Merced where you will find the house where Picasso was born), we will visit the Alcazaba, the Hispano-Muslim palace-fortress dating to the 11th Century.

In the afternoon we will go to the Picasso Museumto see the 286 works in the permanent collection that cover the revolutionary innovations of the artist, as well as his variety of styles, materials and technics.

When we have finished this last visit, we will return to Nerja.
