The trip departs from the School's Residence in San Juan Street. Here we will board a coach that will take us to Malaga.
The first activity in Malaga will be to go up the Castillo de Gibralfaro, (Gibralfaro Fortress), a Hispano-Muslim fortress with spectacular views of the city.
Then we will go down to the city and the coach will leave us next to the Catedral de Málaga (Malaga Cathedral), which will be our next visit. This monument is one of the best examples of the Spanish Renaissance and is famous for its choir.
After some free time for lunch or a stroll through the city centre, (we recommend that you visit the Plaza de la Merced where you will find the house where Picasso was born), we will visit the Alcazaba, the Hispano-Muslim palace-fortress dating to the 11th Century.
In the afternoon we will be taken to the Botanical Garden called "La Concepción". This is a fantastic historical and botanical garden which is an authentic natural monument dating back 150 years. One of the garden's guides will explain, in Spanish, the most interesting facts about the garden.
When we have finished this last visit, we will return to Nerja.
