Escuela de Idiomas Nerja offers you a wide variety of activities to enjoy Andalusia meanwhile you study Spanish with us. The activities are very diverse, for example, you can learn how to do Spanish dishes like paella. And also learn to make the popular drink Sangria, made of wine and fruit juice. Spanish salad is another dish you could taste if you study with us and enroll our famous cooking lessons.
For those who like dancing, we have salsa lessons every week at Club Costa Nerja. In these lessons, students and teachers dance together in a nice and agreeable atmosphere.
It is compulsory to visit the Nerja Caves.
Sports are very important in Nerja. Every week we play volley at Burriana beach with our students of Spanish.
You can also learn about Spanish culture and traditions thanks to the weekly seminars at Club Costa Nerja taught by our teacher. Seminars about: bullfighting; Spanish way of life; Tradition; Flamenco dancing and singing; and plenty more that you could enjoy in a Spanish adapted to your present level of comprehension.
During the weekends, learning of Spanish turns to be even better with the excursions to the most important cities in Andalucía. These cities will remain in your memory after studying with us. Seville, Malaga, or Cordoba are, among others, the most popular for our students of Spanish as a foreign language.
Every Monday, in our school, we have a readers’ club in which students are advised about reading literature in Spanish according to their level and motivation.
Wine plays a very important role in the Spanish Culture and Civilization as well as History. That is why our students of Spanish cannot leave Nerja without assisting to our wine testing: One of the most popular activities. In our wine tasting, you will learn about how to choose drink or understand wine; Its origin and way of production and manufacture; And you will taste the best examples of our wine to understand why Spanish wine is among the best wines of the world.
There is also a Forum in our school where you can share experiences and opinions with other students of Spanish, thus continuing the study of Spanish after leaving Nerja or once in your country.
